1.The seller

Magnets on memonir.com are sold by Hangovers happenings d.o.o. (“we”, “us”).

The buyer is you, the person placing the order. You must be 18 or over to order.

2.The product

A personalised fridge magnet with an illustration drawn by artificial intelligence (AI) from your description. The magnet measures 78 × 54 mm (landscape) or 54 × 78 mm (portrait); you choose the shape while making it.

Every magnet is made individually, from your description and the design you choose. The AI draws from scratch every time, so the same picture can’t be made twice.

Colours on screen and in print can differ slightly, because screens show colour differently from print. This is not a defect.

3.How ordering works

1. In the magnet maker you describe what happened: who was there, where you went and the inside jokes. You can add photos for a closer likeness.
2. The AI draws two variants. Without an account you get 5 free tries per visit. If something is off, you write what to fix and the AI draws again; a fix is a new drawing and uses one try. When the free tries are used up, you can sign up for free and carry on.
3. Drawing is free. You only pay for the magnet you order.
4. You pick a variant and add it to your cart. The on-screen preview carries a memonir.com watermark; the magnet doesn’t.
5. Check the preview carefully before you order: names, jokes, the text in speech bubbles and dates, letter by letter. We print the magnet exactly as it looks in the preview.
6. At checkout you enter the HP Box parcel locker, your name, e-mail and mobile number, and a billing address if you like.
7. “Pay and order” opens Stripe’s payment page. The contract is made once the payment goes through, and you get a confirmation with your order number by e-mail.

4.Prices

Prices are in euros and final: that’s the amount you pay. They are calculated from the total number of magnets in your cart, and the magnets can be the same or different.

• 1 magnet: €14.90 + delivery €2.90
• Pair, any 2 magnets: €24.90, delivery included
• Crew, any 3 magnets: €29.90, delivery included
• Each further magnet: +€7.90 (e.g. 4 magnets €37.80)

Delivery is included as soon as your cart has at least 2 magnets. Otherwise delivery is €2.90 per order.

The price shown in the cart and on the payment page when you order is the price that applies.

5.Payment

You pay in advance by card (credit or debit) on Stripe’s secure payment page. If Stripe offers another method there, such as Apple Pay or Google Pay, you can use that too.

You enter your card details directly with Stripe. We never see or store them.

If the payment fails or you cancel it, nothing is charged and no order is made.

6.Production and delivery

We only ship to HP Box parcel lockers of the Croatian Post (Hrvatska pošta), in Croatia. For now we don’t deliver to home addresses or outside Croatia.

Made within 7 days, delivered in 1–2 working days. The time starts once your payment goes through; working days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

When the parcel reaches the locker, HP Box texts you a PIN to open it. That’s why the mobile number is required. You collect the parcel whenever it suits you, 24/7, within the time set by the Croatian Post.

If you notice a mistake in the parcel locker or the mobile number, email us at [email protected] straight away, before we ship.

7.Returns and cancellation

When you buy online you normally have 14 days to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason. The Croatian Consumer Protection Act (Zakon o zaštiti potrošača) makes an exception for goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.

Every magnet is made just for you, from your description and the design you choose. So the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to magnets, and you can’t return one just because you changed your mind. We remind you of this on the checkout page too, before you pay.

Instead, we give a voluntary satisfaction guarantee: if you don’t like your magnet, tell us within 14 days and we’ll refund you or send a new one.

This doesn’t affect your rights if the magnet is faulty or arrives damaged: see Damaged or faulty magnet.

8.Satisfaction guarantee

On top of your legal rights we give a voluntary guarantee: if you don’t like your magnet, tell us within 14 days of collecting it and we’ll refund you or make and send a new one, whichever you choose.

• email [email protected] within 14 days of the day you collected the parcel
• include your order number (it starts with MM-) and a photo of the magnet
• you don’t have to send the magnet back
• we refund to the payment method the order was paid with

The guarantee applies once per order and doesn’t affect your legal rights for faulty goods (see Damaged or faulty magnet).

9.Damaged or faulty magnet

We are liable for defects as provided by law. If your magnet arrives damaged, the print is faulty (for example smudges, faded colours or a badly cut edge) or it doesn’t match the design you ordered, email [email protected] with:

• your order number (it starts with MM-)
• a photo of the magnet, and of the packaging if it was damaged in transit
• a short description of the problem

Please get in touch as soon as you can, ideally right after collecting it. Once we confirm the defect, we make and send you a new magnet free of charge or refund you. Refunds go back to the card or payment method used for the order.

Mistakes that were visible in the preview before you ordered, such as a misspelt name, are not defects, because we print exactly the design you chose.

10.Complaints

You can send a written complaint by e-mail to [email protected] or by post to Hangovers happenings d.o.o., Kučerina 62, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia. We confirm receipt without delay and reply in writing within 15 days of receiving it.

11.What may go on a magnet

You decide what the magnet says and who is on it, so you are responsible for that content. By ordering you confirm that:

• you may use the names, descriptions and photos of the people you put on the magnet, because they agree (for a child, a parent or guardian agrees)
• the content doesn’t infringe anyone else’s rights, such as copyright in other people’s photos, drawings, protected characters or logos
• the content isn’t illegal, insulting or degrading and doesn’t spread hatred
• you have the right to have any image you upload yourself printed.

We may refuse an order whose content breaks these rules. In that case we refund the full amount you paid.

12.Rights to the image

Your text and your photos stay yours. We use them only to make your magnet.

The illustration is drawn by AI from your description. You may freely use the image of your magnet for private purposes: keep it, send it to your crew or post it on your own social media.

We only show your magnet as an example if you explicitly allow it when ordering; see the privacy policy.

The memonir name, logo, texts and site design are ours and may not be copied without our permission.

13.Governing law and disputes

Croatian law applies to your purchase and these terms, in particular the Consumer Protection Act and the Civil Obligations Act (Zakon o obveznim odnosima). These terms don’t limit any rights you have by law as a consumer.

We will always try to settle a disagreement with you first. If we can’t, the competent court in the Republic of Croatia decides.

14.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Your order is governed by the terms published when you placed it. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
